Umbrella organisations pen joint letter to new treasury minister
NAVCA have joined forces with other leading national umbrella charities in writing to the new Economic Secretary to the Treasury, Sajid Javid MP.
Savid Javid MP took up the post following the government reshuffle in September.
The letter highlights the economic importance of charities and community groups to both the social fabric of the country and the national economy. The letter asks for support for this work to be considered by the Treasury as it undertakes negotiations for the Autumn Statement and Budget 2013.
