NAVCA gives evidence to the Public Administration Select Committee inquiry into voluntary sector funding
NAVCA has provided evidence to the Public Administration Select Committee (PASC) inquiry into voluntary sector funding. NAVCA’s evidence used information from our members to illustrate how cuts are damaging local voluntary action.
Our evidence says that we are very concerned that many voluntary organisations and community groups are being stretched beyond their capacity to adapt due to:
- the speed with which the cuts are being implemented
- the ‘front loading’ of cuts to the local government settlement grants
- the way in which cuts are being implemented locally.
